What are the homes like?

The HOA says Crooked Creek was developed in the mid-1990s and the association was founded in 1993. Homes sit along the golf course and the private road network inside the gates. The HOA does not publish a breakdown of home styles or sizes, so compare each listing on its own merits.

What amenities does Crooked Creek have?

The HOA lists:

  • A main gatehouse staffed 24/7 and a rear entrance with electronic access for homeowners and guests
  • A clubhouse with an event hall for about 150 people, a catering kitchen and bar, a covered terrace with a fireplace, a conference room and a children's playroom
  • 10 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts and a two-story tennis pavilion with LED lighting
  • Two pools, including a 7-lane lap pool and a kids' pool with a waterslide, zero-edge entry and spray fountains

The golf course is a separate entity and is not included in the HOA. The HOA describes it as a par-72 Mike Riley design that plays to 6,960 yards, with private memberships available.

How does the HOA work?

Membership in the Crooked Creek HOA is automatic and mandatory, according to the association's FAQ. Assessments are paid quarterly, on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1. The community is managed by Heritage Property Management Services, with an on-site manager in the clubhouse, and a board of five to seven members. A Road Committee oversees the private roads, and exterior changes go to the Architectural Standards Committee, which reviews requests every other Monday. Ask for the current budget and road reserve figures, since private roads are maintained by the association rather than the city.
